A snapshot of where the stack stands, with honest maturity labels. Shipped, launch surface, and in-build are different commitments, and we mark which is which.
Shipped
- cove — disposable macOS runs on Apple Silicon: fork from clean state, run, keep artifacts, discard residue.
- mlx-go-iroh — peer-to-peer mesh transport, public and semver-tagged.
Launch surface
- skiff — wrap agent frameworks with policy, routed egress, brokered secrets, and local audit.
In build
- The Go-native inference runtime for Apple silicon and the distributed-training datapath: built, in release preparation, and available for review on request.
Measured so far
- Two machines trained, exchanged, and merged real LoRA adapters to byte-identical files across three rounds; the run and its failures are in Two Macs, one adapter.
- The wider research ledger, including what is analyzed but unmeasured and what is pre-registered but not yet run, is in Load-bearing claims, measured separately.
